The Race Tradition

The Nelnet Race for Education is a continuing tradition for Nelnet—bringing awareness and assistance to NASFAA selected charities while enforcing a healthy lifestyle. Previous years' proceeds have benefited a children's book drive, inner-city schools and Tree House for Kids, a Seattle NASFAA charity that supports foster children.

The fourth annual Nelnet Race for Education was held in conjunction with the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) conference. “It was so rewarding to see the hard-working kids at
FLOC in this year’s race, said David Bottegal, Chief Executive Officer of Nelnet’s Education Services division.
“We are proud to support education-seeking families across the country and assist them in fulfilling their dreams.”
